The release lands weeks after UniPhi announced the arrival of its new CEO and reaffirmed its commitment to accelerating growth internationally. UniPhi 22 is the clearest signal yet of that investment, built to meet the platform's latest demands for high-quality project data in an AI world.

UniPhi 22 extends its long-standing commitment to being a genuinely open platform, one that makes data in and data out effortless, and gives clients more ways to put AI to work off the back of UniPhi's comprehensive and expertly curated project data model. Also receiving outsized investment this cycle, driven by client feedback, is data capture and exchange, and commercial management workflow.

UniPhi is also using this moment to lift the curtain, just slightly, on an entirely new product, Chrysalis, with more to come soon.

As shown in a recent UniPhi webinar, getting data out of the platform is just as easy as getting data in. A full catalogue of APIs, sitting on a well-structured and thoroughly documented data model, means AI can access UniPhi data easily, and understand that data properly. UniPhi demonstrated AI reading straight from the platform to build reports and dashboards on demand, a glimpse of what's possible when AI has real, structured access to comprehensive project data.

That same principle carries through to building tools, not just reports. Using the UniPhi API together with Claude Code, anyone can turn that same data into a custom app built exactly around how they work, no developer, no software background, done in an afternoon instead of waiting on a backlog and prioritisation to bring that request to the top.

Smart Data Capture, Your Way

Not every organisation needs, or can justify, the cost and maintenance of a full accounting-system integration. UniPhi 22 gives clients a lightweight, no-code way to bring transactions in from any accounting system, live from day one. It goes further than a straight import: UniPhi automatically matches transactions to existing claims and apportions costs to the right project codes, cutting out hours of manual spreadsheet work. Anything that doesn't come from an invoice, like internal labour, for instance, gets coded through a simple interface, right in the project manager's hands. A genuine alternative to a costly integration build, not a stripped-down version of one.

Commercial Management, Built for the Big Jobs

Infrastructure and major project clients told UniPhi the same thing: disputed invoices create months of admin drag. Tag a disputed line and UniPhi holds it back automatically each month, removing the need and hassle of manually re-splitting the invoice by hand while the undisputed balance still processes and gets paid on schedule. Resolving the dispute is just as simple: untag it, and it flows straight back into the next claim.

Every invoice output now surfaces disputed transactions front and centre, so teams walk into client conversations with full transparency, nothing lost to a mis-split spreadsheet. A direct cut to commerical management and invoicing overhead and a real gain in transparency, for exactly the projects that need it most.

Sharper Interfaces, Smarter Forecasting

UniPhi 22 also brings a redesigned interface that unites scheduling, cost, revenue and effort in a single workflow, an overhauled resource planning experience at both project and contract level, plus a new automated classification engine that sharpens benchmarking, estimation and forecasting across the portfolio.

Also Landing in UniPhi 22

The update goes well beyond the headline features. Dozens of new reports give finer visibility into claims, budgets and resourcing; feasibility studies can now automatically apply a share of positive cashflow to funding facility repayments; and support multiple Xero Organisations in one deployment.  UniPhi 22 also adds Spanish, Portuguese and Mesopotamian Arabic language support, extending the platform into new markets as UniPhi's international growth accelerates.

The Next Chapter: Introducing Chrysalis

UniPhi is also giving an early look at Chrysalis, a new data structuring and classification engine built to bring order to messy, inconsistent project data at scale. Chrysalis stands apart from UniPhi 22. Chrysalis is not ited to this release, and works with earlier versions of the platform too.
